Your windscreen is not simply a window. In a modern car it is a bonded structural component: it supports the roof in a rollover, and it is the backboard the passenger airbag inflates against. That is why a proper replacement is about far more than sticking a new sheet of glass in the hole.
When does a windscreen need replacing instead of repairing?
As a practical rule, a chip smaller than a 1-rupee coin, away from the driver's line of sight, can often be resin-repaired. Replacement is the right call when:

The glass we fit
We supply OEM and OEM-equivalent laminated glass — the same specification your car left the factory with. Laminated glass is two layers of glass bonded to a PVB interlayer, which is why a damaged windscreen cracks but does not shower the cabin with fragments.
Cheap non-standard glass is the single most common problem we are called to fix after somebody else's work. It distorts vision at the edges, yellows in the sun, and often does not seat correctly in the aperture — which is where leaks and wind noise come from. We do not fit it.

A professional windscreen replacement takes 30 minutes to 1 hour of fitting time. We come to your home or office anywhere in Lahore, so you are not sitting in a workshop waiting.
How long before you can drive?
The urethane adhesive needs time to reach safe drive-away strength. We will tell you the exact safe-drive-away time on the day — it depends on the adhesive and the weather — and as a general guide you should avoid slamming doors, high-pressure washing, and rough roads for the first 24 hours. Leave a window very slightly open for the first day so pressure from closing doors does not push against the fresh bond.
What it costs
Windscreen prices in Pakistan vary widely by vehicle, because the glass itself is the bulk of the cost. A Suzuki Alto or Cultus screen sits at the affordable end; a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla or Fortuner with a rain sensor, camera bracket or acoustic layer costs more because the glass is more complex.
We quote you the full price before we start — glass, adhesive, fitting and travel included. We inspect first, and you pay after the job is done. No surprise additions once the old screen is out.
